Back seat divider to keep kids or pets apart?

Question by civic94: Back seat divider to keep kids or pets apart?
I’m looking for some kind of back seat divider to keep my two kids separated in the back seat of the car. Can’t seem to find one with googling. Any suggestions?

Details, only if interested: I have two kids. One is 3 and little. The other is 7, and while very sweet she is also severely mentally disabled and doesn’t understand the consequences of her actions (and also nearly immune to the word “no”.) She is always grabbing at the 3 year old when they’re riding together in the back seat. The constant screaming and stress is getting to be a danger to driving as well as making the car a very unpleasant experience for the 3 year old. I need some kind of divider to keep them apart. I’m picturing something like a piece of canvas attached with the LATCH system in the back and maybe attached to one of the seats in the front. I’ve tried pillows and boxes but the 7 year old is able to push these all out of the way.

I’m guessing such a thing has been invented and commercialized– maybe for pets– but I can’t find one.
Thanks for the 2 answers so far… unfortunately we’ve tried containers like the Sterilite but my daughter is able to move these out of the way as well (she’s quite determined to get at my other daughter!).. The link to the pet barrier looks promising though I can’t find a good picture of the back seat “divider” extension it may be worth a try. Thanks!

lol honestly my temporary fix is i put a plastic bin( those sterilite 30 gallon ones? however I have an SUV might go for something smaller) I filled it up with what was in the trunk to weigh it down) in the middle seat between their car seats .. not the best thing looks wise but works.. but i havent heard of a divider that would be nice though my kids 3 1/2 and 2 fight over EVERYTHING

Why are there so many violent teenagers ect?

Question by lucinda: Why are there so many violent teenagers ect?
There are gangs everywhere beating people up for fun! My friends grandmother was robbed and kicked till she couldn’t walk. I can’t leave the house after 5pm alone. My door was bashed. My neighbor’s letter box and door mat were stolen! I’m scared for my safety, and my pets safety. Cats have been killed. Why are people being like this?

Question by clearmymindplease: Where can I find hardware to anchor my bookcases to the wall for safety?
I have 2 (tall and narrow yet very heavy) bookcases just moved to an area with extra thick carpet padding. They easily tilt back and forth with ease. I need to anchor them to the wall but how? I take it that I will need to screw conecting hardware in to the wall and bookshelves, but I do not know how to and with what hardware. Please help I do not want my kids and/or pets to get crushed accidentally!

I would seriously go to a hardware store because man, if they can’t help you, something is wrong.
