1. You know airlines DO provide this info over the phone and on their sites right? 18″ L x 11″ W x 11″ H Is the general measurement required for a soft sided carrier. This can vary to some degree from airline to airline. Example this is jetblue’s requirement compared to the one I gave you from Continental 17″L x 12.5″W x 8.5″H
2. Nope.

Question by AJ: Anyone travel American airlines, in cabin, with a 13 lb pet. What carrier did you use to fit under the seat?
Best answer:
Answer by patience
13lb sounds a bit too big for in-cabin! If somehow AA allows it , the best pet carrier would be a soft-sided pet carrier. Don’t ever buy even the smallest hard-sided carrier, 99% of them just won’t fit under the seat. Go to AA website and check the dimensions for in-cabin pet carrier.
