Question by John Doe: I’m kinda a noob when it comes to pet food…?
How do you know if pet food is safe for your pet? I never have a pet or anything.
I’m doing research on food safety and globalization of safety.
When i went to food market, I never saw any food inspection seal on pet food. Why is that? How do people know if they already have been tested? I’m aware that they don’t have expiration date either.

Answer by t.jennings07 Buy purina pet chow. And btw a little secret. Always get the youngest age-specified pet food (i.e puppy chow, kitten chow). Why? It will usually have more nutrients than regular because younger pets need more calcium and other nutrients to grow. My dog was really old, 15 yrs., she had a bad hip and we got puppy chow and it actually improved her walking in about 2-3 weeks
Question by Diana: What can I put in my pet’s crate that are safe?
I have 2-3 month old Beagle puppies I would love to cuddle with 24/7, however I have a pretty busy life and need to leave them alone in their crate for a few hours every other day. What essentials should I leave them with while I am away without having to worry about their safety??

Question by wordtwoyamum®: What’s a Pet and Children safe way of erradicating rats and mice?
I have heard that if you mix three parts corn flour and one part dry cement that it is effective (i think that ratio is right, correct me if I’m wrong) the rodents eat it and with water it solidifies internally.
I don’t want to use poison baits or traps if it can be avoided for safety’s sake, so anything like the above mentioned one would be good, or if you’ve heard of success with that method would also be good to know. Thanks in advance for any information.
