Q&A: Tell me the story behind your pet’s name?
Question by honeynubbin: Tell me the story behind your pet’s name?
My three cats were given their names because of how they came to become a part of my family. Magic mysteriously escaped from a SEALED, but ventilated box on the trip to my house. I found her under the front passenger seat of my car, the box, in my living room, was still taped shut. Diamond was adopted from a shelter, but the red tape it took to get her made her adoption as difficult as if she were a precious jewel I couldn’t touch. Gypsy was a palm-sized vagabond hiding under my porch from the terrors of hungry raccoons and crazed neighborhood kids. Weighing less than a pound, she looked like she’d survived the ravages of war. It took two weeks of quiet effort and hand-held food for me to win her trust.
What are the stories behind your pets’ names?

haha well the best one was my dog Puppy. When I first got her I couldn’t think of a name so we always called it the puppy, after a few weeks (had a real hard time pickin a name haha) We noticed it responded to puppy, even after I picked another name she wouldn’t respond to it so Puppy stuck.
