clydesdale max’s first ride of 2010 my 8 year old pet
Max has spent most of his life in the pasture and I decided to take him out for a ride, he is for sale. My daughter wanted me to note that I am a really novice rider. I have been told I have a good seat but she wants someone to know that if I cam ride him most people could. He has been taught respect and he lifts his feet for cleaning, for the ferrier (me), he leads, moves away when asked. He does not bite or kick. I have always played with his mouth so he is used to hands and fingers and does not bite them. I only ride him about once a year so he really needs a job and someone to give him the attention he needs – other than a hug and brushing. He is 17-2 tall. Barefoot and never shod. Easy keeper – up to date on all shots and I think we cogginsed him so he can travel if I ever get him going. Will sell the tack on him as well for a reasonable price. I’m asking about 1950 for him. Plus the tack. Aussie saddle with a horn – down under saddlery with a bronze kangaroo emblem on the horn and a breast plate with the same emblem as well as a crupper. softened leather headstall. max is registered Clydesdale breeders of america and his sire was from Grants Farm -a Budweiser horse. He was actually bred by mike jones of randolph ny.
