Pet Booster Seat: Who Has Them And Why Your Pet Needs One

You can now let your pampered pooch ride along side you in the car. It makes perfect sense to ensure your beloved companion a safe and fun way to travel. The Pet Booster Seat safely secures your pet and allows you to concentrate on driving. You will never have to look in the rear view mirror or worry with holding them down while you are fighting the heavy traffic.

You would never consider your child not being secure in a car seat, so why would you not secure your pet? You can now take your pet on all of your trips, whether they are for work or pleasure, you can enjoy their company everywhere you go.

A Few Things To Consider Before Purchasing Your Pet Booster Seat

The first important thing is to know the weight of your pet and the maximum weight capacity the Pet Booster Seat holds. There are many different shapes and styles on the market, so be very careful the weight limits are correct. Also when purchasing your Pet Booster Seat, consider the height, width, and depths needed for your car and pet. There are even some booster seats designed to hold two pets at once.

The seats have a latch that will secure the leash to the carrier to keep the pet contained in the seat. You will have many colors to choose from and some with added features, such as pockets, harnesses, and water bowls. You can purchase one that is simple to very elaborate. It’s all according to how spoiled your pet is. Another great tip is to choose a booster seat that has a removable liner. This will be the life of your booster seat. You can keep your car clean and smelling fresh with the machine washable liner. Another very important piece of advice is to know how high the Pet Booster Seat sits up.

This will allow your pet to have unobstructed view while traveling. Most small pets get motion sickness and the higher the seat is the more comfortable your pet will be. These Pet Booster Seats also make it easy for handicap or elderly pets. Whatever your pet care need is the Pet Booster Seat is a must for the most pampered pet.

Question by I <3 Poms - Teacup Dogs Don't Exist: What should I get my dog for his birthday?
I own a pomeranian and he is turning 6 years old on the 10th!!! I’m throwing him a party and everything. However I don’t know what to get him for his present. He isn’t very active and doesn’t like to play with dog toys (i know, weird, right?) and he already has a dog bed and a car seat. What should I get him? Thanks

Question by ddti: Shaking & Heavy trembling, What is going on with my dog and car rides?
when my dog rides in the car she trembles like crazy. She is a chihuahua but she NEVER shakes otherwise. And the second symptom of her distress is heavy panting. Her tongue hangs out like she is dying of thirst and she pants like crazy. WHAT IS GOING ON with her? I feel so bad that she is stressed. I have heard that she is just nervous or anxious not car sick. How do you discern between the two? There is no drooling and once she is out of the car it stops immediately.
**I did get her a car seat which has helped quite a bit, but not resolved it completely. What should I do??
ps she & I were in a car wreck several months back. Should I just continue her with car rides and she’ll eventually get better? or what should I do??

Best answer:

Answer by Christina
your dog is fine,
she is okay because this normally
happends just like humans dogs can get carsick?
so a good way to solve this is buying human gravel
break half off and give it to him,

I have a handbag where my dog can sit in while i walk and she can come with me wherever i go. Can I put the handbag on the car seat and fasten it in with the belt? kind of like a vet box thing…would that be safe?

Thanks

Best answer:

Answer by macoroni and melons
You could do this, but a hard shell one strapped to the seatbelt would be safer in a crash to protect the dog more.

Question by *coral*: How do you get the vomit smell out of a car interior?
My dog vomited all over the back seat yesterday after getting into an entire package of butter that was dropped out of the grocery bag while bringing in the groceries.

The dog is fine, the car seat looks fine, but the smell is horrendous. I used carpet cleaner on it yesterday. HELP!!

Best answer:

Answer by bjm
try washing the area with vinger and water, let it dry and then sprinkle a pet odor on the area or put a open box of baking soda in the car.

Question by Be cool: How to get rid of a dog pee smell?
A few days ago I was trying to get my dog in my car to go to the vet. As she was going to sit on my passenger seat she peed on my car. My car seat is fabric. Now my car smells like dog urine. How can I get rid of this smell. I have tried the car foam thing that you brush on your seat and used car fabreeze. I even rolled down my window. I don’t know what else to do. Any suggestions please. Thank you.

Best answer:

Answer by Annie
Two words – Nature’s Miracle. My dog had an accident for the first time in my car the other day (she wasn’t feeling well) and I didn’t think I would ever get the smell out. I poured some Nature’s Miracle on the fabric and rubbed it in with a washcloth. Looks good as new – and absolutely no smell.
