Q&A: Are you a paranoid pet owner?

Question by Shannon™: Are you a paranoid pet owner?
My vets office laughs at how often we call and usually it’s nothing to be worried about or that my pets need to be seen for but they’re the ones with the degree…. not me and I’d rather be safe and over-call any day and make sure my pets are healthy! Are you paranoid with your pet’s health and safety?? I know there have to be an awful lot of people out there like me despite what we see in here. Thanks!!
~C~R~I~s…. LOL, your question is actually what made me ask this one!!

Paranoid, not so much. But, I just posted in my last question how I was just called “overly attentive” to my pets.

Again, my soap box…..

If you have a pet, you have the RESPONSIBILITY to provide them with the best care you possibly can. Ignorance is not an excuse. There are people out there who went to school for this kind of stuff: they are called VETERINARIANS!!! Get a freakin’ phone book. I’m sure, since some people are as ignorant as they appear to be by their questions, that their pets probably have never been to a vet. If, indeed, they have, your vet should answer your question free of charge. Mine does. I call them all the time. Just the other day, I had my husband call for me. I told him they probably get tired of hearing from me.

I am right there with ya, Shannon!
